How much is Jordan Matter Worth? Jordan Matter Net Worth in 2026
Jordan Matter’s net worth is estimated at about $20 million as of November 2026. At our assumed rates, his YouTube channel now earns in ads each day what 12,500 book sales would pay at a $1 royalty. He spent years as a dance photographer, and the channel then went from 1.4 million subscribers in 2018 to 38.3 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented.

How much is Jordan Matter worth in 2026?
We estimate Jordan Matter at about $20 million, with a range of $10 million to $40 million. Audience size can only inform a number like this, and that is largely what this rests on: views are public, his rate per view is not, and neither is the Netflix fee. Public estimates swing widely because they use different pay rates per view and often treat channel revenue as personal wealth, ignoring production costs, staff and tax. We also credit only his share. His daughter Salish runs her own channel, and none of its income is counted here.
How Jordan Matter built it
- Built slowly from 2006. He started the channel in 2006 and had 1.4 million subscribers by November 2018.
- Turned a photo shoot into videos. The 10-Minute Photo Challenge began during photoshoots for his book Born to Dance.
- Put his own money in. He is both co-founder and an investor in Sincerely Yours, which raised nearly $7 million.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube ad revenue | $16 million | More than 16 billion lifetime views as of October 2026, at an assumed $1 per 1,000 views. His rate is not public, so this is our assumption. |
| Brand deals and merchandise | $12 million | Assumed at 75 percent of ad revenue. None of his deals has a published price. |
| Netflix | $4 million | The February 2026 exclusive development deal has no disclosed value. We assume $4 million for his share so far. |
| Production, staff and tax | Minus $16 million | An assumed 50 percent of the $32 million above. |
| Books and photography | $1 million | Years of portrait work and three books, two of them New York Times bestsellers. No earnings figure is public. A flat assumption. |
| Sincerely Yours stake | $3 million | We value the company at $15 million, the middle of the $10 million to $20 million industry estimates for 2026 revenue, at one times sales. We assume the family holds 40 percent and credit him half, or 20 percent. All assumed: ownership percentages are not disclosed. |
| Total | About $20 million | $16 + $12 + $4 – $16 + $1 + $3 million = $20 million. |
12,500 books a day
The channel had more than 13 billion lifetime views when the Netflix deal was announced in February 2026. By October, the count was above 16 billion. Our calculation: 3 billion views in about 240 days is 12.5 million a day. At our assumed $1 per 1,000 views, that is $12,500 a day in ads, or roughly $4.5 million a year before costs. Both view totals are rounded floors, so the pace is approximate.
Now compare a book. Assume $1 of royalty per copy, our number, since his contracts are not public. To match $12,500 a day he would have to sell 12,500 copies a day. That helps explain why a photographer known for pictures of dancers in public places ended up with a video business: the books made his name, and the 10-Minute Photo Challenge videos, started during the Born to Dance shoots, made the money.
The growth came late
He started the channel in 2006, and 12 years later it had just 1.4 million subscribers. It reached 13 million by October 2022 and over 38.3 million by October 2026. That is 27 times the 2018 figure, and he turned 60 in October. His Workman author biography calls him a portrait and dance photographer first.
Netflix and a Sephora brand
Netflix’s deal, which was described as its most expansive creator deal to date, covers scripted, unscripted and animated series plus consumer products. The new projects all star Salish, so we do not credit the whole fee to him. The skincare brand, Sincerely Yours, launched at Sephora in September 2025, with Jordan, Salish and CEO Julia Straus as co-founders. Beauty Independent reported nearly $7 million raised from 26 investors, Jordan among them, and sales in 384 Sephora locations. The CEO’s line: “This isn’t a licensing deal.”
A funding round or sale of that brand is the most likely thing to move our figure. Each 5 percent of ownership is worth $750,000 at our $15 million value, and at a higher multiple it would be worth more.
