Museum Vrolik, Amsterdam
For number 9 we taught to bring out to the public a safer place, opened to the public, which can be regularly visited.
Safe but scary, this is the Museum Vrolik in Amsterdam, a place where you have to have a tough stomach because this place is the Disney Land of atrocities, deformations, anomalies and other strange biological discoveries.
First, the place was a private collection, but with time it became a formal institution where you could find the largest collection of babies in jars where it was added formalin.
The place has the oddest subjects on display, gathered by a professor, Gerardusf Vrolik and his son, to understand better the 18th century biology and the problems causing these deformities.
So basically you are invited to the museum, with no entrance fee, but regarding the scary things that could affect your physics, it’s best you leave this museum to those who are studying at the University of Amsterdam.
