After that, Raquel Welch signed a contract with 20th Century-Fox, and got loaned to a British studio where she starred in “One Million Years B.C.”.
And even though she had only three lines in the movie, the doe-skin bikini she wore became a best-selling poster that turned her into an iconic sex symbol and catapulted her to stardom.
Raquel Welch was chosen by Empire Magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in Film History, and due to her unique persona on film, it made her into one of the sex symbols of the 60’s and 70’s.
