At the 1996 Academy Awards, Nicolas Cage won the Academy Award for ‘Best Actor’ for his portrayal in ‘Leaving Las Vegas’.
And in 2001, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts by California State University.
Nicolas Cage, whose real name is Nicolas Kim Coppola, met his 3rd and current wife, Alice Kim, who is a former waitress who previously worked at the Korean nighclub ‘Le Prive’ and at the restaurant ‘Kabuki’, both located in Los Angeles.
The couple wed on July 30, 2004, at a private ranch, located in Northern California.
Together, they have a son, Kal-El, born on October 3, 2005.
