The 38-year-old Laura Jeanne Reese Whiterspoon gained worldwide recognition after portraying Elle Woods in ‘Legally Blonde’, and starred in the 2002 ‘Sweet Home Alabama’.
In 1997, Reese met actor Ryan Phillippe at her 21st birthday party and became engaged a year later. They have 2 children Deacon Reese Phillippe and Ava Elizabeth Phillippe.
After 7 years of marriage, the couple got separated in 2006.
Shortly after, Reese Whiterspoon began dating Jake Gyllenhall, her co-star from ‘Rendition’. That didn’t work out so well either, as the couple broke up in December, 2009.
In the end, the actress married the sober friend of a drunk guy who hit on her at a party. In 2011, Reese and talent agent and co-head of motion picture talent at the Creative Artists Agency, Jim Toth, got married at Libbey Ranch, located in Ojai, California.
