Tobias Vincent Maguire is the American actor and film producer, best known for his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy (2002-2007).
Among other significant roles include the ones in 1998 ‘Pleasantville’, 1999 ‘The Cider House Rules’, 2000 ‘Wonder Boys’, 2003 ‘Seabiscuit’ and 2013 ‘The Great Gatsby’.
And these high performances brought Tobey Maguire 2 Saturn Awards and several Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Award nominations.
While shooting the 2003 film ‘Seabiscuit’, the actor met Jennifer Meyer, a jewelry designer and the daughter of Universal Studios chief, Ronald Meyer.
He and Jennifer dated for 4 years before getting married.
The couple now have a daughter born on November 10, 2006, named Ruby Sweetheart Maguire. Lovely name!
