Eismitte (in English : ‘mid-ice’) is one of the coldest places on Earth. It’s desolated completely.
Eismitte means ‘Ice-Center’ in German, and this place is located on the interior Arctic side of Greenland, surrounded by ice. So is it rightfully called Mid-Ice.
The coldest temperature recorded in this place was -85 degrees Fahrenheit (that’s -64.9 degrees Celsius), and the warmest was 27 degrees Fahrenheit (or -2.8 degrees Celsius).
But you have to admit. The place looks awesome!
