Santorini is a volcanic island located in Greece, famous for dramatic sights.
And not to mention, for its beaches, like the beach of Perissa, the black pebble beach of Kamari, the white beach and the red one.
The Red Beach earned its name from the iron sedimentary rocks in the cliff and from its red sand.
This beach is totally different from the Les Sables Roses, meaning that here you can’t enjoy some quiet time.
It’s crowded and the first few meters of water near the shore features gravel.
So unless you don’t mind stepping on stones and also you like to have lots of people around you, this location is ideal.
