How much is Blake Mycoskie Worth? Blake Mycoskie Net Worth in 2026
Blake Mycoskie’s net worth is estimated at $100 million as of November 2026. In 2014 he owned a shoe company valued at $625 million, and five years later his half of it was worth nothing. On our assumptions, taking the deal at face value, he kept about 31.5 cents of every dollar from the half he sold.

How much is Blake Mycoskie worth in 2026?
Our figure is $100 million, in a range of $50 million to $200 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. The terms of the 2014 deal were never disclosed, so we work from the reported valuation and label every step after it as an assumption.
A public estimate of $300 million was reported after the sale. That number ignores tax and his pledge to give away half, and it is older than the 2019 restructuring that took the rest of TOMS away.
How Blake Mycoskie built it
- Sold one firm to fund another. He sold an online driver education company for $500,000 to finance TOMS.
- Cashed out half in 2014. Bain bought 50 percent of TOMS at a reported $625 million valuation, including debt.
- Pledged half the profits. He said at least half of his profits from the deal would go to a fund, with Bain matching.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Sale of half of TOMS, 2014 | $312.5 million | Reuters put the deal at $625 million, and that figure includes debt. Terms are undisclosed. Assumption: half of the headline, which may not match the cash he got. |
| Tax on the sale | minus $115.6 million | Assumption: 37 percent for federal and California capital gains tax. |
| Pledge for the giving fund | minus $98.4 million | He said he would give away at least half of his profits, with Bain matching. Assumption: half of the $196.9 million left after tax, and none of it counts as his. |
| His remaining 50 percent of TOMS | $0 | Lenders took 100 percent of the equity in December 2019. |
| Returns on what he kept | $59.2 million | Assumption: 4 percent a year after tax, compounded, on $98.4 million for 12 years. |
| Living costs | minus $30 million | Assumption: $2.5 million a year for 12 years. |
| Ventures and gifts | minus $30 million | Assumption: $2.5 million a year for 12 years for Madefor, ENOUGH and research funding. He has described large gifts with no amounts given. |
| Total | $97.7 million | Rows sum to $97.7 million, which we round to $100 million. Only the valuation and the 2019 wipeout are documented. |
31.5 cents on the dollar
Run the 2014 sale through those rows and the shrinkage is plain. Here is our calculation: $312.5 million, less 37 percent tax, leaves $196.9 million. Half of that goes to the pledge, leaving $98.4 million, or 31.5 percent of the headline.
The piece he held on to did worse. At the 2014 valuation his remaining half was worth another $312.5 million on paper. By late 2019 a $300 million loan due the next year had pushed the company to its creditors, a loan equal to 48 percent of the whole 2014 valuation. Jefferies, Nexus and Brookfield took over and he ceased to be an owner, in a year when TOMS still had $392 million in revenue.
The company he sold for $500,000
TOMS came after at least five other businesses. At SMU he started EZ Laundry, which reached about $1 million in sales before he sold it to his partner in 1999. A Nashville billboard firm sold to Clear Channel nine months after launch, and a reality TV cable network raised $25 million and folded in 2005. On The Amazing Race in 2002 he and his sister missed a million-dollar prize by four minutes.
He funded TOMS by selling an online driver education company for $500,000, after a January 2006 trip back to Argentina gave him the idea. By our math, the reported sale was 625 times that stake. The pitch did the marketing: more than 100 million pairs given away, and a $30 million AT&T commercial featuring TOMS that he says helped grow the business 500 percent in a year, on AT&T’s budget.
What he does with the money now
The newest ventures look more like spending than income. Madefor, a subscription wellness program, launched in March 2020. ENOUGH, a brand and nonprofit focused on mental health, launched in January 2026, followed by a limited-edition bracelet with Aviator Nation in April 2026, a podcast with Lemonada Media and a TED2026 talk. He also holds stakes in Athletic Brewing Company and Urban Golf Performance, sizes unknown, and we give those no value of their own.
The big unknown is the fund. We found no public accounts for it, so we count the pledge as gone. If much of that money sits in investments he still controls, the figure could rise by up to $98.4 million. A disclosed Athletic Brewing stake would also move it, and so would any record of what he took home in 2014.
