How much is Bobby Berk worth in 2026?

We estimate Bobby Berk’s net worth at about $8.7 million. The dated property sale and reported early salary are the only hard numbers. The brand income, firm profits and his desert estate’s rent and value are our assumptions, marked below. Public estimates differ because they tend to read Netflix fame as Netflix pay, which is the one thing he has publicly said it wasn’t.

How Bobby Berk built it

  • Built a business before television. Bobby Berk Home started online in 2006, 12 years before the show began.
  • Turned fame into brand deals. He said brand partnerships, not show pay, were the income, and signed Tri Pointe and Fiverr in 2024.
  • Put money into property. A Hollywood Hills home bought for $1,375,000 in 2019 sold for $2.5 million in January 2025.

How we got to $8.7 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Queer Eye pay $1.9 million Looper reported, without naming a source, $7,500 an episode, about $60,000 a season, for seasons 1 and 2. That is $120,000. For seasons 3 to 8 we assume $300,000 a season, five times the early rate, or $1.8 million.
Brand deals and licensing $8 million Our assumption: $1 million a year for eight years. Terms are private, including the 2024 Fiverr deal, and he has said this is the real income.
Design firm profits $3 million Our assumption: $150,000 a year for the 20 years since Bobby Berk Home opened online in 2006.
Hollywood Hills house gain $1 million TMZ reported a 2019 purchase at $1,375,000 and a January 2025 sale at $2.5 million, a $1,125,000 gain. We deduct an assumed 5% selling cost of $125,000.
HGTV pay $0.15 million Our assumption: $25,000 an episode for the six episodes of Junk or Jackpot?
Casa Tierra rent, four years $1.3 million Using 2022 nightly rates of $2,582 to $4,117, we assume 100 booked nights at the $3,350 midpoint, or $335,000 a year, for the four full years since the May 2022 listing.
Taxes, agents and living costs Minus $7.7 million An assumed 50% of the $15.35 million above, including the rental’s running costs.
Casa Tierra, gain in value $1 million Purchase price and debt are unknown. At an 11% gross yield on that $335,000 we value it near $3 million. We assume he put about $2 million into buying and rebuilding it. That money came out of the income above, so only the $1 million difference counts here.
Total About $8.7 million $15.35 – $7.7 + $1 million = $8.65 million, rounded.

The show that “paid us basically nothing”

On the Networth & Chill podcast in June 2025, Berk said he lost money during the first two seasons because he was away from his company, and that he probably broke even on seasons 3 and 4. He also described a pay system that stops when the cameras do: he travelled out weeks ahead of the rest of the cast to prepare the homes, unpaid until filming began.

The sum behind that complaint is short. Two seasons at about $60,000 is $120,000. His Hollywood Hills gain of $1,125,000 is about 9.4 times that, by our calculation, for a house he held for about six years. And $7,500 per episode buys about 2.2 nights at the midpoint rate on his own desert rental.

He said brand deals were how the cast collected. Fans complaining about the promotions got a direct reply: “This is our form of income.”

Fifteen years of selling furniture first

He moved to New York in 2003, worked retail at Restoration Hardware and Bed Bath & Beyond, and rose to creative director at Portico with no high school diploma. When Portico folded he started Bobby Berk Home online in 2006, then opened a SoHo store in 2007 and later stores in Miami and Atlanta. The online store came 12 years before Netflix, which is why we keep the firm and the show as separate rows.

The later deals rent out his taste. In February 2024 Tri Pointe Homes launched ten Berk interior collections, planned to reach all 15 of its metro areas by 2025. The announcement we opened gives no financial terms. Licensing of his art and furnishings continues, according to the same podcast report.

Real estate as the visible part

Los Angeles homes have been a running side bet. A 2020 report had him listing a Franklin Hills home at close to $1.7 million after buying it for $1.4 million. We could not confirm the final sale price, so it stays out of the table. The same report says he and his husband, Dewey Do, bought a ranch above the Hollywood Reservoir for a bit over $2 million. We have no later price for that one either. Where the records don’t split a home between the couple, we credit the gain to him.

Casa Tierra is a seven-bedroom, 6.5-bath property in Palm Desert that went on Airbnb in 2022. By June 2025 he was reported as running a boutique resort in Palm Desert, which we take to be this property, with a second one planned nearby. That second one is also out of the table, because we have no price for it.

What would move the figure

HGTV launched Junk or Jackpot? on December 26, 2025, and his site says a second season isn’t confirmed. A renewal would add pay and fresh brand interest. Queer Eye’s final season was confirmed in July 2025, which could thin the exposure he says fed his brand deals. A price paid for Casa Tierra, or a sale of it, would replace our largest property assumption.
