How much is Margaret Josephs Worth? Margaret Josephs Net Worth in 2026
Margaret Josephs’s net worth is estimated at $8 million as of November 2026. The company began with 20 painted metal buckets that sold out of a local shop in two days. By 2012, a CNN Money report cited annual sales of $26 million. The trap in that number is the word sales. It is what shoppers and licensees paid, and only a thin slice ever reaches a founder.

- Joined television at 50. She joined RHONJ for season 8 in 2017 at age 50, 18 years after founding Macbeth.

We estimate about $8 million, in a range of $4 million to $15 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. Macbeth is private, its newest sales figure we could open is years old, and Bravo doesn’t publish cast pay.
Public estimates stretch from $5 million to $50 million. The high end treats sales as if they were personal wealth. The low end has been read as making room for business debts, and nobody outside the company can see those books.
How we got to $8 million
The sales figure and episode count are documented. The rest is labelled assumption.
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Macbeth income, 1999 to 2026 | $5.4 million | Our assumption: $200,000 a year kept after tax and living costs for 27 years. The List said in February 2021 that the brand generates about $30 million from licensing and direct sales. |
| Macbeth brand value | $2 million | Our assumption: $10 million a year of Macbeth’s own sales today, valued at 0.2 times sales. That sits well below the 2012 and 2021 figures because those may include what licensees sold, and we found nothing newer. |
| RHONJ pay | $1.6 million | 117 episodes across seasons 8 to 14. Our assumption: $30,000 an episode, the low end of an unconfirmed castmate range, is $3.51 million, 45 percent kept. |
| Memoir, podcast, mocktails | $0.2 million | Our assumption: $30,000 a year for seven years from the podcast, the 2024 memoir and Soirée. |
| Business debts | minus $1 million | Our assumption: private company balance sheets are closed, and a 27-year-old firm with retail and licensing partners is likely to owe something. |
| Total | $8.2 million, rounded to $8 million | Mostly assumptions, labelled as such. |
Why $50 million doesn’t survive the arithmetic
Here is our calculation. Take the $26 million in 2012 sales and assume a 5 percent margin, which is $1.3 million a year. To reach $50 million from profit alone would take 38 years before a dollar of tax or spending. Macbeth is 27 years old. A $50 million fortune would need a sale or a far richer margin than anything on the public record, and we found no report of a sale.
Television looks small next to it as well. Seven seasons at our assumed rate come to $3.51 million before tax, about 13.5 percent of one year of 2012 sales. What the show did supply was attention for the brand.
Decoupage to Walmart
She trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked as a dress designer in New York’s Garment Center before launching Macbeth in 1999. Her parents were Hungarian immigrants, and she spoke only Hungarian until she was five. The range spread from buckets to tech accessories and luggage, and in 2015 she developed Candie Couture accessories for Walmart.
Leaving Bravo, and what would move the figure
She announced her exit in March 2026 after seven seasons. In October 2026, Bravo named a new group of housewives for a season 15 set to premiere in December 2026. By our math, that removes a TV income of about $500,000 a season at our assumed rate ($30,000 times an average near 17 episodes). A new network deal would put part of it back. A Macbeth sale or a new published sales figure would change more than either.
