How much is Daniel Priestley worth in 2026?

We estimate Daniel Priestley is worth about $5.3 million, within a range of $3 million to $12 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. UK filings show his companies’ balance sheets and the ownership band for some of them, but no personal bank statement ever makes it to the register, and most of these companies file no profit and loss account.

Public estimates disagree because biographies describe “multi-million dollar businesses”, and that phrase usually means turnover. One book review says his early companies were each “turning over several million dollars”. Turnover is not what the owner keeps, and the prices of the businesses he sold have never been published.

How Daniel Priestley built it

  • Started a company at 21. He founded his first business in Australia in 2002, then moved to London in 2006.
  • Co-founded a software company. ScoreApp, built with Steven Oddy, had 14 staff and £861,559 in cash at December 2024.
  • Exited a loss-making subsidiary. Dent Global disposed of Rethink Press in December 2025 after a £79,471 yearly loss.

How we got to $5.3 million

Pounds are converted at $1.339 to the pound, the early November 2026 average on X-Rates. Stakes he has not sold carry no tax deduction here.

Source Our estimate What it rests on
ScoreApp stake $1.8 million Our assumption: 20 percent of a $9.2 million company, which is four times the $2.3 million revenue that data vendor Prospeo models (undated, not filed). The register lists only co-founder Steven Oddy as a holder above 25 percent, so we put Priestley below that line.
Dent Global stake $1.1 million The register puts his holding between 25 and 50 percent, and we use 40. We value the group at six times the £342,866 profit of its main subsidiary in the year to June 2025. That is £2.06 million, and 40 percent is £822,878.
Smaller companies $0.1 million Sispara Partners (net assets £46,582, March 2025), Book Magic AI (£79,904, June 2025) and VideoFlo, which has filed no accounts. Book value of our assumed shares is about $50,000, and we double that for VideoFlo and any upside. Mostly our assumption.
Books $0.3 million Our assumption: 150,000 copies across his titles at $3 a copy, less a third for tax. No sales count is public.
Twenty years of kept earnings $2 million Our assumption: $100,000 a year saved after tax and living costs since he moved to London in 2006, covering pay, dividends, speaking and the undisclosed sales of earlier businesses.
Total $5.3 million $1.8 million + $1.1 million + $0.1 million + $0.3 million + $2 million.

The widest row is the last one. If his earlier exits paid far more than we assume, this page undercounts him, and that is the main reason the range runs up to $12 million.

What Dent Global looks like once you open the subsidiaries

That £630,586 understates the group, because Dent Global carries its subsidiaries at cost: £664,223 on the balance sheet. Its notes give their real net assets instead. Dent Accelerators (UK) has £767,900, August Recognition £82,509 and Rethink Press £219,866, which adds up to £1,070,275.

Here is our calculation: £630,586, minus the £664,223 at cost, plus £1,070,275, comes to £1,036,638. At the same exchange rate that is about $1.39 million of book value for the whole group, including the part other shareholders own. It is a rough consolidation that we did ourselves, since the company files none, but it gives a useful scale. It still includes Rethink Press’s £219,866, and the group disposed of Rethink in December 2025. Priestley has mentored over 3,500 businesses, his speaker agency says, while the group behind it holds about as much equity as a nice London flat.

An accelerator can look thin on paper and still pay its owners well, because money that goes out as salary or dividends leaves no trace on a balance sheet. Dent Accelerators had seven staff and £660,502 in cash at June 2025, its filing shows.

The smaller stake may be the bigger asset

ScoreApp’s terms name its operator as Hyper Targeted Marketing Limited. Its December 2024 accounts show 14 staff, up from seven, net assets of £635,207 and £861,559 in cash. The accumulated loss shrank by £256,102 that year, from £598,612 to £342,510, so the business looks to be moving toward profit. Its own site claims more than 100,000 scorecards created, across 187 countries.

Software earns a higher multiple than an accelerator, which is how a smaller holding can outweigh a larger one on our numbers: $1.8 million against $1.1 million. Together the two stakes are $2.9 million, about 55 percent of the headline by our math. Prospeo’s own model values ScoreApp at $7.4 million, and using that would cut our row to about $1.5 million.

From 21 in Australia to a run of UK filings

He founded his first company in Australia in 2002, at 21, according to the Marketing Society’s review, and moved to London in 2006. The register now lists him on 15 appointments past and present. The recent ones are the most telling. Dent Global disposed of its holding in Rethink Press on December 17, 2025, after that subsidiary lost £79,471 in the previous financial year. The accounts give no price. VideoFlo recorded him as a holder of 25 to 50 percent in November 2025, and he stopped being a registered controller of Book Magic AI on September 30, 2025.

What would move the figure

ScoreApp’s accounts for 2025 are due by December 31, 2026, and Dent Global’s next set by March 31, 2027. A funding round or sale at ScoreApp would replace our biggest assumption overnight. So would any published price for his earlier businesses.
