How much is Kayla Itsines worth in 2026?

We put Itsines at about $70 million. The one documented purchase is a waterfront house; the rest is built from what we know about the business and clearly marked guesses. The widest unknown is her share of Sweat after the 2020 split from co-founder Tobi Pearce.

How Kayla Itsines built it

  • Sold the plan, not the gym. Her first two guides launched in January 2014 and passed one million downloads by October 2014.
  • Turned a guide into an app. Sweat generated more revenue than any other fitness app in 2016.
  • Added books. A Pan Macmillan eating guide came out in November 2016, and a habits guide was announced in August 2017.

How we got to $70 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Sweat stake $50 million Assumption. Wikipedia says the app generated more revenue than any other fitness app in 2016. Sweat’s own site says the app launched in 2015 as Sweat with Kayla, was renamed Sweat in 2017, and is in over 145 countries with more than 60 programs (see sweat.com). It has no published valuation or ownership split, so we assume she holds roughly a third of a business worth about $150 million.
Bikini Body Guides and books $8 million Assumption. The first guides launched in January 2014 and passed one million downloads by October 2014. A Pan Macmillan eating guide followed in November 2016. Prices and royalties are not public, so this is after-tax guesswork.
Queensland waterfront house $9 million Documented purchase, price converted by us. In March 2026 she and her husband bought a waterfront house in Mermaid Waters for $13 million. The report does not name the currency, so we read it as Australian dollars, as the same biography does elsewhere. At 70 US cents to the Australian dollar (0.702 on 2 November 2026) that is about US$9 million.
Cash and other assets $3.5 million Assumption. Nothing is public.
Total $70 million The four rows add to $70.5 million, rounded to $70 million.

Only the house has a documented price. The app stake is the row to challenge.

The nine-month million

Wikipedia dates the company to March 2013, with the first two guides released the following January and more than a million downloads by October of that year. By our calculation, that is more than 110,000 downloads a month on average (1 million divided by about 9 months). The exact prices are not public, so we do not turn that into revenue.

The house, as a measure

At about US$9 million, the March 2026 purchase is 13 percent of the whole fortune we assume (our calculation: $9 million divided by $70 million). Whether it was bought with cash or a mortgage is unknown, and we count it in full. She and Jae Woodroffe, whom she married in December 2023, have a son born in January 2023.

Why other estimates disagree

Public estimates for Itsines tend to rest on older figures from when she and Pearce ran the business together. They split in August 2020 and the ownership since is not public, so a figure that predates that can count both owners’ shares.

What would move the figure

A priced sale, a new investor or a disclosed ownership split at Sweat would replace our assumed third. The 2026 house purchase is the most recent documented money event we found.
