How much is Tyra Banks Worth? Tyra Banks Net Worth in 2026
Tyra Banks’s net worth is estimated at $85 million as of November 2026, and it is a rough estimate. At the height of her modeling career she could earn $50,000 a day, Forbes reported in 2006, and she told the magazine she had a “poverty demon” that kept her careful with it. Television paid far better: $30 million in the year to June 2009, more than any other woman in prime time on that list. Her reality series and talk show built most of what she has kept, on our numbers.

How much is Tyra Banks worth in 2026?
We estimate about $85 million, in a range of $50 million to $130 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented after 2009. Three years of earnings were published. The rest of her career is inference.
Public estimates disagree because the published earnings are gross, before tax and management fees, and it is tempting to add them up and stop. Her businesses also get valued as though they were large, when we could find no revenue, funding or valuation figure for any of them.
How Tyra Banks built it
- Moved from runway to producing. She created Top Model in 2003 and ran her shows through Bankable Productions.
- Kept ownership of her show. She owned 25 percent of America's Next Top Model, reported in 2006.
- Stayed careful with money. She described having a poverty demon that kept her frugal at her earning peak.

Earnings rows take 45 percent off for tax, agents and fees, our assumption throughout.
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Three reported years | $39.1 million | $18 million in 2005, $23 million to June 2008, $30 million to June 2009, from Forbes earnings lists. That is $71 million gross, 55 percent kept. |
| Two talk show years with no figure | $27.5 million | Our assumption: $25 million in each of the years to June 2007 and June 2010, sitting between the reported ones. The show ran until May 2010. $50 million gross. |
| Modeling before 2005 | $22 million | Our assumption: ten years at $4 million, the value of her lingerie contract. $40 million gross. |
| Top Model years after 2010 | $35.2 million | Our assumption: $8 million a year for eight years, for hosting, producing and her 25 percent of the show. $64 million gross. She hosted until the October 2015 cancellation and came back for a later season, so the final years may be too high. |
| Dancing with the Stars years | $5 million | Our assumption: $3 million a season for three seasons, $9 million gross. We found no salary figure. |
| Home sale gains | $5.8 million | Three sales with both prices reported, before costs. Beverly Hills: bought for about $3 million, TMZ said, sold for $6.33 million in 2016. Pacific Palisades: $7.35 million in 2014 to $8.9 million in 2018 and $6.95 million in 2018 to $7.895 million at the end of 2021, the Palisadian-Post reported. |
| Business bets | Minus $10 million | Our assumption: TYRA Beauty and SMiZE and Dream together cost this much, with no equity value carried until a price exists. |
| Living costs | Minus $40 million | Our assumption: $2 million a year for twenty years. |
| Total | $84.6 million | $128.8 million of kept earnings, plus $5.8 million, less $10 million and $40 million. We round to $85 million. |
Six hundred days on the runway, or one year of television
Her best published modeling rate was $50,000 a day. Her best published year was $30 million. Divide one by the other and it comes to 600 working days, by our calculation, more than two years of showing up every weekday.
Ownership made the difference. Bankable Productions, originally called Ty Ty Baby after a childhood nickname, co-owned her talk show with its distributor Telepictures. She held 25 percent of Top Model alongside Ken Mok and Viacom. Those three reported years alone, after our 45 percent haircut, are $39.1 million, or 46 percent of our headline figure.
The houses are a smaller story. The three sales with both prices made $5.8 million before costs, about 7 percent of the total. A $4 million sale in 2018 is left out because we couldn’t find what she paid. She lost a Los Angeles home in the January 2025 Palisades Fire, and we made no adjustment because neither its value nor any insurance payment is public.
An ice cream company with no public numbers
She now has a home in Sydney, which is also where SMiZE and Dream, the brand she founded in 2020, has its flagship. She said in April 2025 that a lot of the ice cream was being made in Australia, and she has pointed to the country’s high ice cream consumption as a reason. The latest money event we can document is the June 2025 opening of a permanent flagship at Darling Harbour, a 3,000 square foot store, with staff who are working or aspiring actors playing characters. That is a costly format for scoops. We carry the company at no value and count the spending as a loss, since no revenue or funding figure has been published.
What would move the figure
A funding round or sale at SMiZE and Dream would turn a cost row into an asset, and a failed American launch would do the reverse. In April 2025 she hoped to bring the concept to the United States in 2026, while an advisor suggested 2027. A report of what the 25 percent Top Model stake still pays would help most, since that row rests on the least evidence.
