Elle Macpherson’s net worth is estimated at $80 million as of November 2026. In 2014 a report valued her lingerie labels at $150 million, nearly twice our figure for everything she owns, and we count the names she kept at zero. The money we can trace came from a lingerie deal in which she took a share of profits over an upfront fee, plus modelling, property and WelleCo.

How much is Elle Macpherson worth in 2026?

Our number is $80 million, in a range of $50 million to $120 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. We found one clean property deal, one old sales figure for the lingerie line and no revenue figures at all for WelleCo. Everything else below is labelled as an assumption.

Estimates elsewhere disagree because of what they count. A figure that treats the 2014 naming-rights value as cash in the bank lands far above one that counts only money she has actually received. We stick to the second approach, then add our own guess at WelleCo.

How Elle Macpherson built it

  • Took profits over fees. She traded upfront licensing fees on her lingerie line for a larger share of the profits.
  • Kept the name. When the lingerie partner moved on in 2014, she kept the naming rights to her three labels.
  • Started a new company at 50. She co-founded WelleCo in 2014, and investors from the Swisse business bought 25 percent in 2018.

How we got to $80 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Elle Macpherson Intimates, 1990 to 2014 $43 million Assumption built on one sales figure. Worldwide retail sales reached $76 million by 2006, a trade report said. We assume $60 million a year on average for 24 years and a 5 percent cut for her, or $72 million, less 40 percent tax.
Modelling and endorsements $9 million Assumption. No contract is public. We use $1 million a year for 15 years from her 1985 start with Biotherm, less 40 percent tax.
Coral Gables house profit $8 million Bought for $8.1 million, sold for $18.5 million, reported in September 2024. That is a $10.4 million gain, less an assumed 20 percent tax. Renovation costs aren’t public and would lower it.
WelleCo stake $15 million Assumption. The Foundry bought 25 percent in 2018 at an undisclosed price. We assume a $40 million company and split the other 75 percent evenly between the two co-founders, so 37.5 percent for her.
Lingerie naming rights $0 Her three labels were estimated at $150 million in 2014, with no source named. She kept the names and Bendon kept the designs. We found no sale or income from them, so they add nothing here.
Returns on savings $21 million Assumption: half of the $52 million from the first two rows stayed invested for 12 years at 5 percent a year, which adds about 80 percent to $26 million. The other half we treat as homes and cash earning nothing. Spending before 2014 isn’t modeled, and would lower the total.
Spending since 2014 minus $18 million Assumption: $1.5 million a year for 12 years, covering homes, staff and travel.
Total $80 million The rows sum to $78 million, rounded.

Our range: a 2.5 percent lingerie cut gives about $50 million. A 7.5 percent cut and an $80 million WelleCo gives about $120 million.

The back-end bet

Newsweek reported that Macpherson gave up upfront licensing fees for a larger share of the profits on the line she makes with New Zealand’s Bendon, around the time she hired a copyright specialist in 2003 to revamp her contracts. The bet looked good by the mid-2000s, when sales were reported at $76 million and growing 23 percent a year. The share she took has never been published, which is why our biggest row is a guess.

The deal ended in public. In October 2014, Bendon moved the flagship line to Heidi Klum’s name. Macpherson kept the naming rights to her three labels while Bendon kept the designs. So the $150 million was attached to labels whose names she kept and, as far as we can find, hasn’t sold. By our calculation it is 1.9 times our whole estimate ($150 million divided by $80 million). If a buyer ever paid close to that, this page would need a new headline.

A house that sold 36 percent under asking and still more than doubled

She bought the Coral Gables estate in 2018 for $8.1 million. It listed at $29 million in April 2022, fell to $22 million and sold for $18.5 million. Our math: the sale came in 36 percent below the first asking price and 128 percent above what she paid. We credit the gain to her because the reports name her as the seller, and no ownership split is public. The six-bedroom house came with a library and walls that held Basquiat, Warhol, Haring and Hirst. We don’t count the art because we can’t tell who owns it or what remains.

WelleCo, the number nobody publishes

She and Andrea Horwood launched WelleCo in 2014, when she was 50, after a doctor gave her an alkalising green powder. The Foundry’s 25 percent purchase was reported in February 2018, and its founders came out of the Swisse supplement business. The price is hidden, and so is the revenue. We picked $40 million for the whole company as a judgment call, because a private label with no disclosed sales is hard to value any other way. Every $10 million change in that assumption moves her row by $3.75 million.

What would move the figure

Her latest documented money events are the house sale reported in September 2024 and her memoir, published that same month, with the advance undisclosed. She also appears on the 2026 Spanish series Mask Singer, pay unknown. Two things could shift our estimate fast: a sale of WelleCo or a sale of the lingerie names. Either one would turn our largest guesses into facts.
