How much is Whitney Wolfe Herd Worth? Whitney Wolfe Herd Net Worth in 2026
Whitney Wolfe Herd’s net worth is estimated at $180 million as of November 2026. A block of Bumble shares the size of her 21 million units would have been worth about $1.6 billion at the reported opening price on listing day. Those units are worth about $128 million at the $6.05 price Ithaca Holdings agreed to pay in October 2026. She is not taking all of it in cash, though: about 10.9 million of her shares, worth $66 million at that price, roll into the buyer’s new holding company.

How much is Whitney Wolfe Herd worth in 2026?
We estimate Whitney Wolfe Herd is worth about $180 million, within a range of $150 million to $240 million. The wide range is real: her filings show her shares and units precisely, but not her tax bills, her cash, or what she holds outside Bumble.
Older estimates put her at several hundred million dollars or more because they were struck when Bumble traded in the tens of dollars. At $6.05 a share the arithmetic is different. Some lists also count the whole company’s value as hers, which it never was.
How Whitney Wolfe Herd built it
- Took the company public. Bumble listed in February 2021 and opened at $76 a share on its first day.
- Sold in small slices. She sold about 1.75 million shares in 2023 and 1.37 million in 2025, far less than she held.
- Came back as CEO. She returned to the chief executive role in March 2025 to run the company again.

Bumble is a public company, so most of this ledger comes from share counts in her SEC filings.
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Bumble holding at the deal price | $139 million | About 21.23 million exchangeable units held through her investment vehicle, 1.6 million shares she holds directly, and roughly 0.12 million held by her spouse and a trust, about 23 million in all at $6.05. |
| March 2023 share sale | $40 million | She sold about 1.75 million shares at $22.80 in a secondary offering, per InvestorPlace, in an offering where Bumble itself received nothing. |
| August 2025 share sales | $8.5 million | The filings show 1.37 million shares sold at an average of $6.26, part of it (365,116 shares) by her spouse, so this is household sales. |
| Taxes and spending | Minus $7.3 million | Our assumption: 15 percent tax on the $48.5 million of sales shown above, which is $7.3 million. We deduct nothing for personal spending or for tax on shares she has not sold, because we have no figure for either. |
| Total | $180 million | The sum of the rows above: $139 million plus $40 million plus $8.5 million, less $7.3 million, rounded. |
This one is a rough estimate in places: the stake is documented, but her outside assets, salary and any payments tied to the company’s tax agreements are not, and we add nothing for them beyond the tax and spending line.
The 92 percent drop, in one sum
Here is our calculation, using the 21.23 million units in her August 2025 SEC Form 4 filing. Bumble reportedly opened at $76 a share on its first day in February 2021 (we could not re-open that report), so a block of 21.23 million units would have been worth about $1.61 billion. She held more than that at the time, so this is a comparison, not her peak wealth. At $6.05 they are worth about $128 million, which is 92 percent less. The sale price is itself a 138 percent premium to where the stock closed on October 9, 2026, before reports of talks leaked.
So her fortune did not vanish in one bad year. It shrank in stages, and the deal premium is the first time in a while the number has gone up.
Part of it rolls over
A rollover agreement signed on October 12, 2026 and filed with the SEC shows her investment vehicle, Beehive Holdings III, will swap 10.9 million Bumble shares for the same number of shares in a buyer subsidiary, valued at $65.9 million at $6.05. Our calculation: that is nearly half, 47 percent, of her roughly 23 million shares and units. The rest are sold for cash at the deal price, about $73 million before tax. The rolled part has no market price once the deal closes, so its value depends on how the combined business does under the new owners.
The business behind the shares
Bumble returned her to the chief executive role in March 2025. In the second quarter of 2026 the company reported revenue of $211 million, down 15.2 percent from a year earlier, with paying users down 16.4 percent to about 3.2 million. The Next Web reported the second-quarter figures and the $1.3 billion deal value.
What would move the figure
The closing is the event. If it completes at $6.05, the rolled $66 million becomes a private holding with no market price, and that part of our figure would depend on Ithaca’s later results. If the deal fails, the share price decides. Every $1 move in the price shifts her stake by about $23 million.
