Sean’s Bar was established in 990 AD.
Located in Athlone, on the River Shannon, Ireland, the bar had been through many changes (obviously, regarding the date when it was established), but it still features that familiar pint and traditional Irish music.
We don’t know about you, but when you know that a bar which was opened over 1.000 years ago still stands, it makes you want to take the first flight to Ireland and see this stunning building.
And this is the oldest bar in the world!
