London’s The Icecreamists are taking the second place in our top weirdest ice cream flavours in the world.
They created the Baby Gaga, a breast milk ice cream made from freshly-expressed pure breast milk that was donated from the public.
The weird ice cream ended up being banned, but don’t imagine that they did not have success. The first batch of ice cream sold out within the first days.
The bizarre ice cream contained breast milk, vanilla pods and lemon zest.
The Covent Garden based shop wanted to do for frozen desserts what
“the Sex Pistols did for music”
Another weird ice cream flavour from The Icecreamists is The Vice Lolly, an iced dessert made from Holy Water imported from the shrine at Lourdes and blended with 80% Absinthe.
The ice cream is said to offer
“spiritual refreshment that is miraculous and medicinal in a single lick”
