Bentley’s Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition by Mulliner is a land yacht and we kind of fell in love with them!
From whoever wants something else from the regular Bentley Continental GT, this special edition inspired by a super yacht is here to wow you.
With just 30 models ever made, the latest limited model will roll out Bentley’s Mulliner modification division.
How much money for this beauty?
Named the Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition by Mulliner, this new car doesn’t have a price tag just yet.
However, expect to retail at hundreds of thousands of dollars, so you better start saving!
Bentley, in collaboration with experts Princess Yachts, worked on the 4.0-loter twin-turbo V8 convertible.
Named Galene after the Greek goddess of calm seas, this car boasts bright white paint with bright blue contrasting highlights, designed to capture the “sparkle of crystal clear waters”.
In addition, the 500bhp sports car features a contrasting dark blue hood, which imitates the canopies used on most yachts. It also sits on a massive 21-inch polished Propeller style wheels.
Which details they took from luxury yachts?
Also, this one is a special car, because it features a trimmed cabin with yacht-inspired touches made from hand-crafted materials.
Bentley’s new car has seats made in Linen and Portland hides with Camel hand stitching to imitate the ones a luxury yacht has.
Seems like, for each car, Bentley will design a unique hand-printed Jaume Vilardell illustration of a super yacht. Also included is the Mulliner script, available for each car.
Furthermore, using a new material, Pinstripe Walnut, as inserts throughout to represent the decking used on yachts, the car looks quite amazing, don’t you think?
The car includes white door panels, dashboard, center console and steering wheel made from the same materials.
Combining the best elements of an oceanic lifestyle with luxury convertible motoring, the car will have quite a price tag.
