3. Iron Man Three (2013) – $200 million
Iron Man Three is the first Iron Man film and the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that doesn’t hint at the events of future films in the mid-credits and/or post-credit scene.
The post-credits scene was originally meant to have Stark blasting off into space to meet the Guardian of the Galaxy, instead Bruce Banner appeared in the post-credits scene as recommended by Robert.
In this movie, Robert got his ankle injured in a stunt and because of that the production was delayed on August 15, 2012.
Including the bonus post-credits scene in The Incredible Hulk (2008), this is Robert Downey Jr.’s fifth portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man.
