How much is Ed Craven worth in 2026?

We estimate Ed Craven’s net worth at about $2.3 billion. Neither company has a share price, a funding round or a published valuation, so this is built from filings and our own assumptions, with the Australian dollar at about 1.43 to the US dollar on 3 November 2026. We read the Easygo filing figures as Australian dollars, which is our assumption too. The offshore casino’s profit is the biggest unknown, and we say how we guess it.

How Ed Craven built it

  • Started young with bitcoin dice. He launched Primedice in February 2013, when bitcoin was about $20.
  • Took no outside money. The business has never raised a priced round, so profit stayed with the two founders.
  • Undercut Twitch on revenue split. Kick launched in late 2022 keeping 5 percent of creator revenue.

How we got to $2.3 billion

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Half of Easygo Solutions $0.91 billion Wikipedia’s summary of company results shows FY2024 profit of $260 million. At an assumed 10 times profit, A$2.6 billion. Half is A$1.3 billion.
Half of the Stake casino business $1.88 billion Forbes Australia reported $4.7 billion of 2024 gross gaming revenue. We assume a 10 percent net margin ($470 million) and 8 times that: $3.76 billion. No profit figure is public. The article names no currency for the revenue. We read it as US dollars, our assumption; in Australian dollars this row would be about $1.32 billion.
Half of Easygo’s crypto holdings $0.14 billion The same summary lists $405 million held in cryptocurrency at FY2024. A profit multiple doesn’t capture a balance like this. Half is A$202.5 million, at a mid-2024 mark, and bitcoin has moved since.
Toorak property $0.08 billion A$80,000,088 for a derelict St Georges Road block in 2022, plus a A$38.5 million house in 2023. Total A$118.5 million at cost. Planned rebuilding isn’t included.
Kick $0 No outside round and no disclosed valuation as of August 2026, per this ownership review. Craven told Forbes Australia in 2025 that he expected a profit within two to three years. We count nothing until then.
Discount for a private, regulated business Minus $0.70 billion Our assumption: 25 percent off the first two rows ($2.79 billion), because these stakes can’t be sold quickly and some markets can close without warning.
Total $2.31 billion Sum of the rows above. We round to $2.3 billion.

The $740 million question

Forbes Australia wrote in June 2024 that Craven and Bijan Tehrani split ownership 50/50. A business profile from October 2025 gives Tehrani about two thirds and Craven one third, through a company called Ashwood Holdings, but cites no filing. A September 2026 review of the ownership chain says sources disagree and neither man has published a figure.

We use half, because it comes from the best reporting. Run the same ledger on a one-third stake and the total falls to about $1.57 billion. By our calculation, the gap against $2.31 billion is about $740 million, or a third of the entire headline, riding on one undisclosed percentage.

Bonuses three times the wage bill

The odd numbers come from the Australian service company. In 2023 Easygo Solutions reported a net profit of $206 million after paying $102 million in tax, which we read as Australian dollars, according to the Forbes Australia profile. It paid $29 million in wages and $92 million in bonuses, so bonuses ran at 3.2 times base pay. Tax took 33 percent of the $308 million before-tax total.

The growth is the other number worth a look. The same profile gives $105 million of revenue in 2020 and $4.7 billion of gross gaming revenue in 2024, a rise of nearly 45 times if the two measures match. All of it began with a dice game launched in February 2013 when bitcoin was about $20 and Craven was still in his teens. He reportedly drove a second-hand Mercedes C200 to school. He then paid more than A$80 million for a Melbourne block that had last sold for $5 million in 1991.

Why other estimates disagree

Public estimates mostly differ on two inputs, the size of his stake and the profit multiple. One trade page cites unnamed analysts valuing the whole of Stake at $14 billion to $23.5 billion in a sale, about three to five times 2024 revenue. We don’t use that: no deal or named source stands behind it, and half of even the low end would be $7 billion. Using a 15 percent margin instead of 10 percent moves our total to about $3.0 billion.

What would move the figure

An ownership review cites Bloomberg in February 2026 reporting that Stake and Kick share a Melbourne headquarters and staff, and says the group folded its content studios into an Easygo Games banner this year. On the costs side, Audi took over the former Stake F1 team in 2026, which ends a naming deal Forbes Australia put at US$100 million, and Stake withdrew from the UK in 2025. A sale, a listing, a published ownership split or Kick turning a profit would each change this page.
