8Albert Camus – Freedom in an important aspect
If there is something I most believe it, that is freedom. Many people don’t see it, even though it is so obvious and logical. How are you going to do and say what you want if you are constantly constrained by something?
Albert Camus was a French author, philosopher and Nobel Prize winner. His philosophy is known as absurdism and he has been classified as an existentialist, although he repeatedly stated that he doesn’t consider himself as one.
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
He had many thoughts on freedom and how sometimes it takes an act of rebellion if you want to live the life you want. Today, not many of us can truly say that they are free, but those that are willing to take that risk will thank themselves later.
