7Carl Jung – Try to understand the people around you
Carl Gustav Jung, the father of analytical psychology has captivating writings on extraversion and introversion, archetypes and the collective unconscious.
He is actually the one that created these concepts, including the fascinating subject of synchronicity. If you are interested by this matter, he has a whole book on it and I highly recommend you read it .
His words that I chosen to discuss here, are probably one of the most enlightening statements ever said about the human being. He believes that what we find annoying in other persons has actually a lot to do with our personality.
“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to a better understanding of ourselves.”
It’s important to understand that all people we come in contact with are different and in order to create great things we need to learn how to work with every one of them.
So, the next time you are irritated by what someone said or did, ask yourself why is that. Maybe at an unconscious level, you are also doing something similar.
The human mind doesn’t do anything random!
