6Sigmund Freud – Be prepared to take responsibility
There is no need in presenting Freud, the founding father of psychoanalysis, as his work on the unconscious; dreams and Oedipus complex are already famous.
And we can’t ignore the words of a man that has dedicated his whole life to the understanding of the human mind. And so, I bring again the matter of freedom. We already said how important it is and I believe you all wish to obtain it.
“Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.”
But are you really willing to take all the risks, to go into the unknown? Having the liberty of doing anything you want involves lots of work. Until you get there, you have to work harder than average, to risk it, to fail and being strong again to start again if so.
Are you willing to take responsibility over your own life? Be that one out of a million.
