6Xtend Barre
This one is the creation of a former professional dancer, Andrea Rogers.
She turned to Pilates to stay in shape and said: “After a few years as a Pilates instructor, I started to crave the creative element of dance in my workouts again, so I approached the owner of the studio where I worked with the idea of a class that combined Pilates, dance, and barre.”
Is is basically a traditional ballet-inspired workout that integrates principles from Pilates too and focuses on the core and spinal alignment.
I really believe this is an interesting way of working out, hence you get to sculpt lean muscle while feeling more graceful and having better posture.
