Another one of the celebrities with money problems is Courtney Love.
The former Miss Cobain is known for getting in trouble pretty much all the time, her being involved in multiple lawsuits with lawyers and assistants who claim she owes them money.
In 2005 Love gained $50 million for selling 25% of the rights to the Nirvana catalogue. In 2010 she was offered another $162 million for the rest, but she was considering the offer because she believed that the songs and their royalties were cursed.
In 2012, after receiving a loan of $2.75 million from her daughter’s trust fund, Courtney stepped down as acting manager of End of Music LLC, the corporation which was still generating money from Kurt Cobain’s publicity rights.
But she needs to pay the loan back until she will be able to get any money off her late husband’s publicity rights.
Love’s former assistant claimed that she has a recording of the singer where she complained about not being able to pay what she owed.
