1. Banner Travel Services: $10 Million
A California travel agency named Banner Travel Services was the victim of our number one most expensive printing mistake.
Banner Travel Service, had to close for business and placed an ad in the Yellow Pages of the phone book.
You know that book where you can find your favorite pizza?
They told the printing company to highlight a specialization in exotic destinations, which the printing company should not get any problems doing it. But unfortunately, it wasn’t that easy.
Instead of highlighting and typing exotic destination, they wrote as a fort in erotic destinations.
Of course, people called to book vacations on the erotic destinations, but that wasn’t the kind of customers the travel agency hoped to get.
The printer company offered to pay a $230 monthly listing fee, but the Banner Travel Service sued them for $10 million.
