The Uluru rock is believed to be sacred by the Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal tribe, which considers these rocks to be built by their ancestors, and still inhabited by the spirits of their forefathers.
The rock is a sandstone rock standing about 335 meters high, and has a deep-red hue that changes trough the day.
