One of the most holy sites in the world is in England.
The Glastonbury Tor is a hill that according to some legends, contains a mystical aura and magical connections. A source of myths, the Glastonbury Tor was considered the entrance to the home of the Gwyn ap Nudd (the Lord of the Underworld and King of Fairies) by the Celtic civilizations.
The pagans used this holy place for ceremonies celebrating the Goddess and in later years the hill was believed to be Avalon, the place where King Arthur‘s and Queen Guinevere‘s coffins were found. More recently, the Glastonbury Tor was linked to the quest for the Holy Grail.
With so much history behind it, the hill is known to have a special spiritual energy, visitors saying they felt more hopeful and positive after having visited the site.
