And we end our journey of the most sacred places in the world with Jerusalem.
Jerusalim’s Arabic name is Al-Quds, or Beit al-Quds, and originated from the meaning to be holy, or to be pure. Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world and is the only city considered to be sacred by al three Abrahamic faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Even though Jerusalem is a holy place, and is visited by millions of people each year, it’s often a territory of disputes, between Israelis and Palestinians.
