2.Mecca, Saudi Arabia
The next world’s most sacred place is Mecca.
Located in Saudi Arabia, Mecca is considered to be the most sacred place in the Islamic faith, because it’s the birthplace of the prophet and founder of Islam, Muhammad.
In order to attain holiness, Muslims are required to visit at least once in their lives Mecca. They are expected to say a prayer, facing the Kaaba or the Sacred House (no matter which part of the world they are in), which is considered to be the most sacred site of Islam.
More than 16 million people from all over the world come to Kabba each year, during the hajj period, that being 8 times the number of original residents. But you need to know, that non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the city.
