Paris isn’t considered the fashion capital of the world in vain. Some of the most expensive and most famous designers come from Paris, such as Christian Louboutin and Coco Chanel.

The city is currently home to the HQ of some of the most famous brands such as Chanel, Yves Saint LaurentGivenchy, Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and many more.

Paris also hosts the finale of the four fashion weeks of the world, Milan Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

The term “haute couture” was invented in Paris, so yea. Now you understand why this city is the fashion capital so to say.

Those are just a few reasons why Paris deserves a museum, because the city is itself a fashion core, it screams fashion whenever you look.

The city is currently working on building France’s first permanent fashion museum and is taking a donation of $6 million, to make it happen.
